FALLEN GRACE | Author: Farseer Tyross | Type: Report |
| Fallen Grace | After the cataclysmic events of the birth of the Great Enemy, the surviving Eldar of old which had managed to survive the massive psychic disturbance had cast themselves into an age of isolation. This time, which only the oldest of Eldar warriors truly remember but fragments of ancient knowledge of those days. It was during this time that Asurmen first began to teach his ways which would become the Aspect Warriors, in response of a growing threat from the Yngir. | Indeed whether the Eldar could grasp such virtues of what they had unleashed, nor how it would truly shape the face of the Universe as they saw it. Such an event sent the surviving Eldar who tried as hard as they could to hold onto which they held dear into denial and forced them to hold their emotions under constant control. | A Call To Arms | After the first conflicts with the growing threat of the Yngir and the rest of the Necron race, the Eldar could see the need for far stricter placement of values and mental preparation. It was during this time that the Eldar of the Craftworld of Laemenesh become under constant attacks from the relatively newer discovered race that would later become known to the Imperium (which was founded later on the Eldar calendars) as the Orks. Drained of the resources to fight much longer, the Eldar on Laemenesh become increasingly desperate as their numbers dwindled, leading them to create more and more hulks in which a spirit stone could inhabit, and in this way, the Eldar of Laemenesh could continue to fight off increasing attacks by the Ork ships and boarding parties, launched from a nearby star system. During the entire period, Eldar could leave due to a warp storm that had separated the system, stopping the Eldar Craftworld from leaving the system. When the storms finally subsided, all that was left was a drifting ghost ship. | Reclamation of Old Rites | When the Craftworld of Quarlan found Laemenesh, under the leadership of Farseer Ularan Vaulan, who had taken it upon himself to reclaim all the spirits of the now dead Craftworld, and savage the wraithbone as a short order. Quarlan spent fully four weeks towing the dead Craftworld out of the system to the jump point, allowing them to deal with their salvage in the quite peace between stars. When Quarlan emerged into colonised systems, the oldest records of the Imperium noted the increased size of the new Craftworld, some four times it's original size. | The Art of Technology | With the death of Farseer Ularan Vaulan, the Craftworld was shrouded in sadness, it's entire populous seduced into morning by the very fact that their gracious leader had passed on. From out of the ashes, the remaining Eldar Farseer's begun having visions of grand technology, even more advanced then that of current Eldar dealings, and of the human empire coming to fruit. Indeed, this was the period when the Eldar of Quarlan was secluded from the Webway for some four millennia, while their greatest minds, both alive and dead crafted their technology that the Eldar that would assume the name of Cha'Los has today. | The Coming of Tyross | When the period of morning had passed, a young Warlock simply known as Tyross had ascended to become a Farseer of the greatest power, and assumed control of the Craftworld. Whether this was by design of Farseer Ularan Vaulan, an Eldar tradition which states that should a Farseer of old age, he would name his successor from amongst the Craftworld's populous with the aid of their lifetime of casting. One of the first commands was to continue developing new technology for use in their service, and with his ascendance, the Craftworld changed it's name, birthing their fate under the name of Cha'Los. | The Alliance Begins | During the next fifty millennia, the Craftworld begun "recruiting" other Craftworlds, their warriors was added to the greater army of Guardians, their ships and the Craftworld itself was added to the fleet of Eldar ships, forming task forces as need be. Currently, some twelve Craftworld make up the alliance of Eldar Craftworlds, hence the name Cha'Los (loosely translated as "Joining of Great Minds"). |
