| Number/Squad: 1 Tech Adept may be included in the army as long as the Army as long as the army is 1,500 pts or more. He may be attached to Chosen, Khorne Berserkers units, Khorne Bike units (must purchase a Chaos Space Marine bike). He may also be upgraded to an Independent Character for +10 pts. If he is not an Independent Character, then the Tech Adept may not leave the unit he is assigned to. | Wargear: Mark of Khorne, refractor field (counts as daemonic aura) and feel no pain. | Options: The Tech Adept may choose any items that are available to Khorne, with the exception of Banner of Rage and bionics. He may also choose to take a servo-arm from the Armoury, with up to 75 points of Wargear, and 50 points worth of Daemonic gifts. | The Tech Adept may be given up to one Veteran Skill chosen as normal from the Armoury. He must have the same one as the unit he is assigned to. | SPECIAL RULES | Independent Character: The Tech Adept may be upgraded to an Independent Character for a cost of plus +10 pts. If this option is taken, the Tech Adept becomes an Indepent Character and may or may not join units (see Mark of Khorne, Book of Khorne). If he is an Independent Character, then he counts as an Elites choice for the army. | Repair: Each Tech Adept is skilled in constructing and repairing vehicles. If there is a vehicle that is within 2" of the Tech Adept that has suffered a 'weapon destroyed' or 'Immobilised' result, then the Tech Adept may attempt to repair it, and may do nothing in the Shooting Phase (the unit he is with is uneffected by this rule and may shoot normally). Roll a D6, on a roll of a '6' the vehicle is repaired and may move and fight normally next turn. However, if the unit he is with (or indeed he) moves because of the 'Blood Rage,' the Tech Adept may not attempt to repair any vehicle that turn. |
