Patronage: The Army must be lead by a Greater Daemon of Chaos, and depending upon which Greater Daemon is leading it will restrict the options. For example if the army is lead by a Bloodthirster, then the army may not include any Slaaneshi units, daemons or vehicles. Any army lead by a Great Unclean One cannot include a Tzeentch units nor can a Tzeentch daemon host include Nurgle units. Slaanesh cannot take Khorne units. |
The Eye of Terror: Because it is only possible to encounter fully daemonic armies within the Eye of Terror, the normal rules for possession by Great Daemons and daemon summoning are not used since the Daemons and all Chaos Daemons may deep strike, including Greater Daemons. But even in this unstable medium, all daemons scatter 3D6" instead of the usualy D6". The Eye of Terror can also unnerve the most stead fast of opponents. Any model in the opposing army suffers a -2 to all Leadership based tests with the exception of Psychic tests which are taken without penalty. |
Warp Storms: Each turn roll a D6, on a roll of a 5+, a Warp storm starts up and all non-daemon models on the table move as if moving through difficult terrain and for that turn, the all shooting is subject to the Night Fighting rules. |
